What responsible means to me - I think it means looking after your belongings and others.
Also being on time to things like for example I have to be on time to my netball training which is at 7.00am.
You can be responsible everywhere. To be responsible you can remember what you have to bring every day.
Waterwise
Every Friday the Year 6's go to Okahu Bay for Waterwise. Room 10 and Room 8 always go first then Room 12 and Room 11 go. The activities we do are kayaking and sailing. What we do is learn more about boats. I like Waterwise because I didn't really know what boats were all about and I would like to say thanks to Mrs Knarston for giving us the oppourtunity to go to waterwise, also the bus driver for dropping us down to Okahu bay and back to school.
Year 6 Camp
The whole of year 6 went to Camp Merc .
When we arrived their we had to get all our baggage off the bus and put it in our rooms.
I liked our room because it was nice and small and had no spiders. When I finished getting all my stuff packed I went outside and got into groups. I was in group 1, my leader was Mike. He was funny. The first activity was Stack'em, it was really fun. I managed to get up to 7. I think I did really well but I think I could have improved.
The second activity was Archery and it was kind of hard but I did better than I thought I would've done! I think that I aimed too far because I shot the bow and arrow over the target which landed on the grass, I think I could improve more if I had another go.
The third activity was surfing early in the morning, It was really fun because it was my first time trying it. It was really hard trying to stand up . I kept falling off!
